ACT LIKE A TEACHER

When novice teachers enter the classroom, they are often unsure of what to expect, how to present their materials and how to gauge the success of their lesson. At the end of the day they don’t look like teachers and they don’t know how to act like teachers.

Our program seeks to imbue students with the confidence to stand in front of a group, to present materials effectively and to develop the flexibility to deal with the unexpected.

Testimonials

"In this era of hyper realism, where students judge and are judged on social media, I find my students more self conscious and nervous in public contexts. This paralysis is a real challenge for students who need to learn to command a public school classroom. Act Like A Teacher helped my students focus o relaxing and gaining confidence with their physical presence, as well as work on projecting their voice".
